# Transaction fields

> Every field of the transactions row type: request name, output column, Arrow type, JSON form and nullability.

One row per transaction, with its receipt fields, ordered by `(block_number, transaction_index)`.

Select fields under `fields.transaction` by the name shown in bold; each comes back under its **column** name, with the Arrow type shown next to the name.

## Fields

**blockNumber** `UInt64`

Number of the block containing the transaction.

Column `block_number` · JSON number · never null

**transactionIndex** `UInt32`

Position of the transaction in the block.

Column `transaction_index` · JSON number · never null

**hash** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

Transaction hash.

Column `hash` · JSON hex string · never null

**from** `FixedSizeBinary(20)`

Sender. **Filterable** (`from`, `fromSet`).

Column `from` · JSON hex string · never null

**to** `FixedSizeBinary(20)`

Recipient; null for contract creations. **Filterable** (`to`, `toSet`).

Column `to` · JSON hex string · can be null

**value** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

Wei transferred. 128-bit big-endian.

Column `value` · JSON decimal string · never null

**input** `Binary`

Call data. Empty (`0x`) for plain transfers.

Column `input` · JSON hex string · never null

**nonce** `UInt64`

Sender's nonce.

Column `nonce` · JSON number · never null

**gas** `UInt64`

Gas limit set by the sender.

Column `gas` · JSON number · never null

**gasPrice** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

Gas price (legacy and access-list transactions; on EIP-1559 transactions as reported by the node).

Column `gas_price` · JSON decimal string · can be null

**maxFeePerGas** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

EIP-1559 fee cap; null on older transaction types.

Column `max_fee_per_gas` · JSON decimal string · can be null

**maxPriorityFeePerGas** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

EIP-1559 tip cap; null on older transaction types.

Column `max_priority_fee_per_gas` · JSON decimal string · can be null

**gasUsed** `UInt64`

Gas used (receipt).

Column `gas_used` · JSON number · never null

**cumulativeGasUsed** `UInt64`

Gas used in the block up to and including this transaction (receipt).

Column `cumulative_gas_used` · JSON number · never null

**effectiveGasPrice** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

Price per gas actually paid (receipt). Fee = `gasUsed × effectiveGasPrice`.

Column `effective_gas_price` · JSON decimal string · never null

**status** `UInt8`

`1` success, `0` reverted (receipt); null before Byzantium. **Filterable** (`status`).

Column `status` · JSON number · can be null

**type** `UInt8`

Transaction type: `0` legacy, `1` access list, `2` EIP-1559, `3` blob, `4` set-code; chain-specific types on L2s (e.g. `0x6a` ArbOS on Arbitrum).

Column `type` · JSON number · never null. **Filterable** (`type`).

**accessList** `List\<Struct\<address: FixedSizeBinary(20), storage_keys: List\<FixedSizeBinary(32)\>\>\>`

EIP-2930 access list: `{address, storage_keys}` entries.

Column `access_list` · JSON array · can be null

**logsBloom** `FixedSizeBinary(256)`

Bloom filter of the transaction's logs (receipt), 256 bytes.

Column `logs_bloom` · JSON hex string · never null

**chainId** `UInt64`

Chain id signed into the transaction; null on pre-EIP-155 legacy transactions.

Column `chain_id` · JSON number · can be null

**v** `UInt64`

Signature `v`.

Column `v` · JSON number · never null

**r** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

Signature `r`.

Column `r` · JSON hex string · never null

**s** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

Signature `s`.

Column `s` · JSON hex string · never null

**yParity** `UInt8`

Signature y-parity on typed transactions.

Column `y_parity` · JSON number · can be null

**contractAddress** `FixedSizeBinary(20)`

Address of the contract created (receipt); null otherwise.

Column `contract_address` · JSON hex string · can be null

**sighash** `FixedSizeBinary(4)`

Function selector: the first 4 bytes of `input`; null if `input` is shorter. **Filterable** (`sighash`).

**maxFeePerBlobGas** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

Blob fee cap (type 3).

Column `max_fee_per_blob_gas` · JSON decimal string · can be null

**blobVersionedHashes** `List\<FixedSizeBinary(32)\>`

Versioned hashes of the blobs (type 3).

Column `blob_versioned_hashes` · JSON array · can be null

**blobGasUsed** `UInt64`

Blob gas used (type 3 only; null for every other type).

Column `blob_gas_used` · JSON number · can be null

**blobGasPrice** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

Blob gas price paid (receipt, type 3).

Column `blob_gas_price` · JSON decimal string · can be null

**authorizationList** `List\<Struct\<chain_id: FixedSizeBinary(32), address: FixedSizeBinary(20), nonce: UInt64, y_parity: UInt8, r: FixedSizeBinary(32), s: FixedSizeBinary(32)\>\>`

EIP-7702 authorizations (type 4): `{chain_id, address, nonce, y_parity, r, s}` entries.

Column `authorization_list` · JSON array · can be null

## Arbitrum fields

Filled on Arbitrum chains only; `null` (and listed in `unavailable_fields`) elsewhere. Served chains: Robinhood Chain.

**gasUsedForL1** `UInt64`

Arbitrum: gas charged for L1 data (receipt).

Column `gas_used_for_l1` · JSON number · can be null

**l1BlockNumber** `UInt64`

Arbitrum: the L1 block number seen by the transaction (receipt).

Column `l1_block_number` · JSON number · can be null

**requestId** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

Arbitrum retryables and deposits (types `0x64`, `0x66`, `0x69`).

Column `request_id` · JSON hex string · can be null

**ticketId** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

Arbitrum retry transaction (type `0x68`): the retryable ticket.

Column `ticket_id` · JSON hex string · can be null

**refundTo** `FixedSizeBinary(20)`

Arbitrum retryable: refund address.

Column `refund_to` · JSON hex string · can be null

**maxRefund** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

Arbitrum retry: maximum refund. 256-bit.

Column `max_refund` · JSON decimal string · can be null

**submissionFeeRefund** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

Arbitrum retry: submission fee refund. 256-bit.

Arbitrum retryable submission: L1 base fee. 256-bit.

Arbitrum: `1` when the transaction went through the Timeboost express lane (receipt).

Filled on OP Stack chains only; `null` (and listed in `unavailable_fields`) elsewhere. No OP Stack chain is served yet.

**sourceHash** `FixedSizeBinary(32)`

OP Stack deposit (type `0x7e`): source hash.

Column `source_hash` · JSON hex string · can be null

**mint** `FixedSizeBinary(16)`

OP Stack deposit: ETH minted on L2.
